ANUSHKA LONKAR
Hi, I’m an interior designer and a home improvement consultant with a degree in interior design from SNDT University, I chose to take up this vocation because I sensed in me the passion and deep sense of satisfaction in making people happy by turning out beautiful homes for them.
Beyond the educational qualification that equipped me with the knowledge for design, I have been able to cultivate the faculties required to be a professional in this space. I have a feel for optimal design of space, a keen sense for aesthetics, an eye for detail, boundless enthusiasm, and loads of empathy to decode my client's unspoken dreams that are most often limited by constraints of budget. Having grown up in Mumbai, I realize that space, time, and money determine the economics and physics behind happiness.
I have produced some body of good work in this area. While working with a ‘Design and Build’ firm, I have remodeled a couple of commercial and residential buildings. I have been in charge of sites, material selection and procurement, sub-contracting, project management, planning, and costing.
